So my followers...tonight is the big night of our Wedding Open House and I don't think Rachel and I could not be more excited.

First, we are expecting about 200 people to come and see the Club and hopefully fall in love with us and want to have their wedding at our venue.

The Season of Bridal Shows

Bridal shows are on the horizon and with them come great ideas, talented vendors, delicious cakes, and if I don't mind tooting our own horn, beautiful venues to check out...wink, wink, nudge, nudge...Red Rock Country Club!

We will be participating in both the Las Vegas Bride Expo at Mandalay Bay (Sunday, January 24, 2010 and booths #309/311) and the Bridal Spectacular Show at Cashmen Center (Friday, January 29 and Saturday, January 30, 2010 at booth #507). Our booths are being decorated by the amazingly talented Randi with Naakiti Floral Design and I cannot wait to see what she has planned this year.

I would trust Randi with all of my wedding dreams and did so when my baby sister got married in May 2009, so make sure to put us down on your "must see" list at the shows.

Plus, if you needed more incentive, come meet my newest addition to the wedding team! Rachel Barrozo has joined us and will be a great asset to the weddings at Red Rock Country Club...did I mention she was recently a cover model on Las Vegas Bride? Kara Loves Mike...

Tomorrow evening at the Las Vegas Bride Awards, we will find out whether Red Rock Country Club will be honored with an award. Last year, we were nominated for "Best Ceremony Site" and "Best Reception Site." Keep your fingers crossed and I will post more tomorrow evening after the awards are announced!

I will not be attendance, unfortunately, as we are hosting our annual Holiday Employee for our Club, which I will be working as a "thank you" to our dedicated staff for their hard work and dedication to our clients, Members, and events.

During the holiday season weddings typically settle down, which allows us to regroup and get ready for the next wedding wedding season. Preparations are taking place for Red Rock Country Club to be at two Bridal Shows in January 2010.

We will be at the Las Vegas Bride Expo on Sunday, January 24, 2010 and the Bridal Spectacular Show on Friday and Saturday, January 29 and 30, 2010. These shows allow Brides and Grooms to meet vendors, gather ideas, and take in all things wedding.

We will be having our Wedding Open House on Friday, February 5, 2010 from 6-9 pm at the Main Clubhouse at Red Rock Country Club. The event is complimentary, but reservations are required for food preparation. Email Gina Pfersching (gpfersching{at}redrockcc.com) to reserve your spot today, as space is limited.

Congratulations to Nicole and Adam! They were married on our event lawn and enjoyed their reception in our Arroyo Room. Her theme of love birds was adorably carried throughout the reception.

We first met this couple via email when out of the blue Nicole inquired about our location. She met with Claire and fell in love. We enjoyed planning with them and enjoyed seeing their wedding come to life.

The tables featured lanterns with flowers along the base. Their colors and tiny love bird theme was present in the whole wedding.

Floral Couture by Floral 2000 created the flower arrangements while the Bride designed the lanterns and love birds.

Even the table numbers were included with the love bird theme!

The cake was adorable and wait until you see the cake topper...

Congratulations again! We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!

Denitsa and Alan were married this Saturday with some of the most beautiful weather we have experienced all year! I personally think November is the best month to get married in Las Vegas.

Since the Bride and Groom live in Chicago, much of their planning was done through the Groom's mom and dad and via email with the Bride and Groom.

November is one of the most beautiful months to get married in Las Vegas. This Friday, Alicia and Jared were married at our event lawn under a beautiful sunset sky. Haunted Barnyard Halloween Event at Red Rock Country Club

Without a wedding this weekend, I figured that I would blog about my most darling assistant, Claire Jones, and her husband, Billy. She is leaving in November to travel overseas to work with a church group. To celebrate their time in Las Vegas and their upcoming one-year anniversary, they looked no further than Studio ATG to capture them...

For those who know Claire, she could be one of the sweetest, most genuine people and her husband is just the kindest soul I have met. They are madly in love and two of the most gentle people. These photos capture them and the love for each other.

The theme today was crystals...Jason Kenneth Designs and CLM Weddings decorated for our evening wedding with Stephanie and Michael. Burgundy, chocolate, and pinks were the colors of this fall wedding.

This morning, Leslie and Danny arrived to get ready for their morning wedding and brunch. The weather perfect. The backdrop stunning. The decor...probably the prettiest I have seen in a long time. Under a white wedding canopy decorated with beautiful shades of pink and crystals, they said "I do." Naakiti Floral Design outdid themselves with the lanterns and topiary balls of flowers that delicately framed the aisle.

With fall finally arriving in Las Vegas, today's wedding was perfect! The colors embraced the season with candles, orange roses, reddish-orange calla lilies, and purplish orchids.

Our couple, Susan and Chris, loved wine so rather than numbering their tables, each guest sat at a varietal table.

The mixture of candles and flowers allowed the room to glow and each guest commented on how beautiful the room looked, but no wonder...Naakiti Floral Design handled the centerpieces, bouquets, and arch. Each time we have them at the Club, we are amazed at the work and how each bride comments, how "perfect" the flowers are!

The Garden Lounge was candlelit with rose petals to greet the guests after the ceremony.

The hearth was also candlelit to decorate the flagstone and brick fireplace

The ceremony lawn overlooking the majestic mountains decorated with rose petals, tulle and flowers on the chairs

Fruitwood Chiavari Chairs create the perfect sophisticated setting...luckily, they are included in all of our packages!

and most important...the cake! Simple Elegance in Cake Design made the cake with floral by Naakiti Floral. What is amazing is the cakes taste better than they look.

The color pallette was true falls with chocolate browns, golds, ivory, and a touch of burgundy. There wasn't a dry eye in the house as Dad walked the bride down the aisle!

Their dinner service was amazing with tastes of around the world. We had a cheeses of the world station, Asian station that included Filipino Pancit, Lumpia, Seared Rare Ahi, and Thai Wonton Shrimp; Italian station with fresh sauteed pastas featuring sweet and hot peppers, fra divolo, and more; Tapas featured Spanish Panzanella Salad and Roasted Lamb Chops with Roasted Garlic Demi Glace.

The last station featured Argentine Steak Sopas with three different salsas depending on the spice you preferred. The party was amazing with the Bride and Groom so in love with each other, life, and food!

Red Rock Country Club Bridal Open House 2

One of the favorite tables of the evening with the manzanita branches and brown/copper taffeta tablecloth. The fruitwood chiavari chairs and chocolate somerset cushions added the elegant touch to the table.

Violet pintuck tablecloth, purple somerset napkins, and silver chiavari chairs round out the sophtiscated table that is perfect for Spring and Summer. The silver chargers were added for a little extra punch on the table and to highlight the purple orchid placed on each napkin.

This table featured red somerset tablecloth with yellow somerset napkins with black chiavari chairs. The color scheme had an Asian feel with the lantern centerpiece.

The lighting you see against the brickwall is available with Naakiti Floral Design as well. It is amazing how highlighting the bricks warms the room. The color highlighting is available is several colors and adds an element of awe.

Wedding Highlight Video

Here are some photos of a recent March wedding that we did at the club. The bride created her own centerpieces by purchasing different sized cylinder vases and put beads and water inside topped with a white candle, to create a romantic and warm atmosphere. The bride's table numbers were photos of different casinos in Old Las Vegas, bringing in a taste of her hometown roots. A great thanks to the Photographer, Mindy Miller from Red Rock Studios. The beautiful cake was done by Creations Bakery. The red theme would make for a fantastic fall, winter or spring wedding!

This was a wedding that we did in late June. The bride's colors were gold, red and black and the final product came together to make a very warm and glamorous feel.
We did gold chivari chairs with black cushions, black napkins and deep red tablecloths.

This past weekend, we hosted a beautiful wedding for Antoniya Ivanova and Momchil Pierce. Tony and her maid of honor did most of the decorations themselves, including the centerpieces, programs, and candy table. All of her ideas were perfect for her Tiffany blue feel. Check out some photos from her elegant evening.

Programs were hand made by Antoniya.

The center pieces were put together by Antoniya's maid of honor and sister-in-law Kapka. She gave each guest a box of Godiva chocolates as their favor.

The candy table (all from Candywarehouse) consisted of personalized hershey kisses, personalized m&m's, lollipops, taffy, and butterfly gummies.

A DIY Project by Gina

For our May 29th wedding, Gina made cute reserved signs for the bride and groom's families. She found a picture of a chandelier, wrote "reserved" over it, and printed it on cardstock which she then cut down to the size she wanted. After that, she punched two holes at the top for ribbon to fit through. Finally, she strung black ribbon and tied little knots on the inside of the card and hung them on the first chair of each aisle to be reserved. The floral arrangements were done by Naakiti Floral Design.

A June Wedding

Sharon Tulak and Rick Nowacki got married at Red Rock on June 6, 2009. The couple has a love for the New York Knicks, and hence the colors and themes of their lively wedding. Studio ATG photographed the wedding and did a wonderful job of portraying the bride, groom, and wedding party's fun personalities. They had a photobooth set up, where the guests could make crazy poses for the camera. Check out their blog for more wedding fun. Memory Lane Video filmed the wedding and reception and captured the ambience of the ceremony quite well.
For now, these are just a few of the shots that we took from the evening.

On Friday, May 29th, 2009, Emily Jones and Nate Giles married under the Red Rock Mountains on the event lawn of our country club. And what a beautiful evening it was. Event coordinator on property, Gina Pfersching, worked hard to bring all of the bride's visions and thoughts together to make a wonderful atmosphere for the guests and an unforgettable night for the bride and groom. Emily, our bride, wanted a vintage, yet trendy look to the reception, with uplighting and decor to set a swanky mood. Her favorite color is pink, so we tried to incorporate that as much as possible in the linens, place cards (which Gina designed and printed) and favors (gigantic rice krispies with pink icing!). Gina collected corks from old wine bottles and inserted the place cards on them and put them on a bed of rice...it made for a great do it yourself idea.

Gina hired Randi from Naakiti Floral to come in and decorate. She did a fantastic job turning our club into chic site with pipe and drape above the dance floor and a beautiful chandelier in the center of the ceiling. She also brought in uplighting and candles to add to the look. J Rick Martin, did a fine job with photographs and was gracious to give us some of the shots he captured.

Katie and Jonathon had a beautiful candlelit wedding this past Saturday. Randi, from Naakiti Floral Design did an excellent job of designing the room in a minimal yet elegant way.

Katie and Jon used two frames for people to find their seats and put place cards at each of the tables

The bride and groom's colors were red, orange, and yellow, a fun combination for welcoming summer.

The sky during their cereomy was simply gorgeous, just a bit overcast, with rays of sun shining down on them, a perfect setting for an outdoor wedding.

A Windy Blown Day

This past Saturday was a windy nightmare, but our wedding managed to stay beautiful despite the wind's persistence.
Lisa and Brent were married at sunset with absolutely stunning photos taken by J.Rick Martin.
Of course these are just ones that we took, but none the less, it may give a taste of their charming evening.

I have never seen the country club look as breathtaking as it did this past Saturday. Randi from Naakiti did an incredible job with the flowers, linens, decor, lights, etc.
Amanda and Michael's colors were red and orange, such beautiful colors for April. I cannot do justice in describing this wedding in words so I will just let the photos do that.

A Neat Idea

Last Saturday, we had Melissa and Nick's wedding reception, which was beautiful. The orange and pink colors really brightened the room and made a fun and happy atmosphere. The reception was Vegas themed with a cute card and dice cake (Dane, from Simple Elegance), and playing card place cards. Randi from Naakiti Floral Design did the flower arrangements. Everything from the decor, the color schemes, the cake, and the wedding party went together very well.
